Computer Technician

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN - HOURS: 600

This competency-based course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the field of microcomputer repair. This course addresses basic electricity and electronics, basic digital computer theory, and basic computer repair. The competencies in this course are aligned with the California High School Academic Content Standards.

PREREQUISITES:

Enrollment requires a 7.5 reading level as measured by the TABE D 7/8 and basic math skills.
