Computer Technician Trainee

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN TRAINEE - HOURS: 1200

This competency-based course contains computer training techniques, and electronic training techniques such as Direct Current Electronics, Alternating Current Electronics, and Digital Electronics, as well as Macintosh training. This course contains information and training sufficient to allow the student to obtain an entry level computer repair technician position in the electronic computer field and to prepare for A+ Certification and Apple Macintosh Certification Test. The competencies in this course are aligned with the California High School Academic Content Standards.

PREREQUISITES:

Enrollment requires an 8.0 reading level as measured by the TABE D 7/8, and math skills equivalent to Math Review/C.
